Full Time

Salary: Range from £33,046 to £33,904 per annum

Location: Nottingham based however, job requires regular travel nationwide

Central High Rise Ltd is based in Nottingham and is currently looking for a Steeplejack/Lightning Protection Mate/Labourer who is eager to learn, grow and build a rewarding career within the industry.

Main duties include attending our Nottingham offices on a regular basis where you will be instructed to carry out a variety of work at height, according to individual job specifications, following instructions on the method statement and risk assessment.

You will be required to assist and follow instructions as given by the Steeplejack / Lightning Protection Foreman working at various sites nationwide.

The ability to work away from home when required is essential and will be needed on a regular basis.

Requirements

Essential Criteria

  • Proven experience in working at height
  • Ability to identify risk and assess jobs appropriately
  • Valid CSCS card, safety passport or working at height competency
  • A focus on safety and quality in all aspects of your work
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Flexible and dynamic approach to all tasks
  • Willingness to learn and develop within the company
  • Punctual, trustworthy and reliable
  • UK driving licence
  • Valid passport

Desirable

  • NVQ Level 2 qualified or equivalent
  • IRATA qualification

Finance Assistant

Part Time

Salary: Range from: £15,862 to £16,985 per annum (24 hours per week)

Location: Nottingham, NG2 3GA

Central High Rise Ltd is currently seeking a reliable and efficient Finance Assistant to join our friendly team within our Nottingham offices. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised individual who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate records and contributing to the smooth running of a growing business.

The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.

Working hours: Ideally Monday to Wednesday 8am to 5pm but can be flexible

Main duties include:

  • Handle telephone and email enquiries professionally, resolve routine queries where appropriate and forward detailed messages to the Finance Manager as required.
  • Assist the Finance Manager with any allocated tasks.
  • Maintenance of sales ledger including preparation of Sales Invoices and Applications for Payment and allocating customer receipts to the correct invoices/applications.
  • Providing information to assist the Finance Manager with debt chasing (spreadsheets listing invoices with detail for certain clients)
  • Checking, receipting goods and processing Purchase Invoices. Reconciling Purchase Ledger balance each month.

Requirements

Essential Criteria

  • Qualified to GCSE level (or equivalent) including Maths and English
  • Qualified to AAT level 2 or equivalent
  • Have 1-2 years’ experience within a finance role
  • Experience in working to tight deadlines
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Ability to process financial information efficiently and accurately.
  • Confident and professional telephone manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and solution-oriented

Desirable

  • NVQ/AAT Level 4 (or equivalent) in Finance
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Ability to analyse financial data and identify trends or anomalies.
