Full Time

Salary: Range from £33,046 to £33,904 per annum

Location: Nottingham based however, job requires regular travel nationwide

Central High Rise Ltd is based in Nottingham and is currently looking for a Steeplejack/Lightning Protection Mate/Labourer who is eager to learn, grow and build a rewarding career within the industry.

Main duties include attending our Nottingham offices on a regular basis where you will be instructed to carry out a variety of work at height, according to individual job specifications, following instructions on the method statement and risk assessment.

You will be required to assist and follow instructions as given by the Steeplejack / Lightning Protection Foreman working at various sites nationwide.

The ability to work away from home when required is essential and will be needed on a regular basis.

Requirements

Essential Criteria

  • Proven experience in working at height
  • Ability to identify risk and assess jobs appropriately
  • Valid CSCS card, safety passport or working at height competency
  • A focus on safety and quality in all aspects of your work
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Flexible and dynamic approach to all tasks
  • Willingness to learn and develop within the company
  • Punctual, trustworthy and reliable
  • UK driving licence
  • Valid passport

Desirable

  • NVQ Level 2 qualified or equivalent
  • IRATA qualification

Contracts Coordinator

Full Time

Salary: Range from £26,436 to £28,308 per annum

Location: Nottingham, NG2 3GA

As a Contracts Coordinator at Central High Rise, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Contracts team and the wider organisation, managing administrative arrangements for job orders, travel and accommodation. Acting as a point of contact for contracts general enquiries within our Nottingham offices, you will be customer focused and work responsively. With strong organisational skills, you will be required to compile and monitor a programme of works and allocate jobs ensuring compliance, efficiency and effective communication between stakeholders.

If you enjoy variety, collaboration and working within a fast-paced environment, this could be the ideal opportunity for your career growth. Working hours Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.

Main duties include:

  • Compile and monitor a programme of works and allocate jobs within the works programme.
  • Booking accommodation for site operatives
  • Arrange site attendance with clients for all programmed jobs and gain client confirmation.
  • Update client portals where this is required.
  • Uploading site documentation to SharePoint. Check and organize all site images onto the company system in a timely manner.
  • Sending of Health & Safety Job Packs and relevant documentation including training records to clients.
  • Consistently monitor all planned maintenance on the PPM planner in a timely manner.

Requirements

Essential Criteria

  • Qualified to GCSE level (or equivalent) including Maths and English Language
  • At least 2 years’ experience of working in a professional administrative or planning role
  • Proficient in working with office applications such as MS Excel and Outlook
  • Experience in work scheduling
  • Experience in route planning
  • Experience in dealing with customers verbally and in writing
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in spreadsheets and data inputting into databases
  • Excellent administrative, organisational and time management skills with the ability to work to demanding deadlines
  • Ability to work co-operatively and productively as a team member as well as independently

Desirable

  • Experience in working within Lightning Protection and/or Steeplejacking
  • Experience in working within the construction industry
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Adaptable, flexible, able to thrive on challenges whilst handling a multitude of tasks and responsibilities
  • Disciplined and methodical

Authorisation to work in the UK required.
