Central High Rise remains one of the oldest steeplejack company’s in the UK and still upholds its traditional core values. Integrity, Safety and Innovation at height.

Having well established multi-disciplined teams, we can offer all working at height solutions for all our client’s needs.

Central high Rise has moved from strength to strength and has received many accreditations, these include CHAS, Constructionline (Gold), Achilles, EXOR, and Safe Contractor. Central High Rise also has an Implemented Management System that has been accredited to BS EN ISO 9001:2015.

The Management Team

Nathan Corden

Managing Director

After completing College, Nathan joined Central High Rise as a Steeplejack and Lightning Protection Installer, Nathan then moved into a Test Engineer role. Whilst working as a Test Engineer, Nathan gained valuable experience and further qualifications in working at height. In 2007 Nathan progressed to Technical Surveyor, This enabled Nathan to focus on providing detailed reports and proposals for our clients and to be the first point of call for all their needs. After developing further in 2009, Nathan was appointed as Commercial Director, his focus was to identify key areas of the business and implement changes for Central High Rise to evolve and grow. Following the acquisition of Central High Rise, Nathan shares his expertise throughout and is now responsible for the performance and future development of the Company. Having previously been voted onto the ATLAS committee Nathan offers continuing support to other members in the industry

Ian Townsend

Operations Director

Ian joined Central High Rise in 1995 as an Apprentice Steeplejack and Lightning Protection Engineer. After many years being a Steeplejack and Forman, Ian moved into a Technical position where he prepared detailed reports and quotations for clients. Upon completion of various Health and Safety Qualifications Ian progressed further into an operational role of the business and spent three years as Contracts Manager before being promoted to Contracts Director. Following the acquisition of Central High Rise, Ian shares his expertise throughout and has overall responsibility of all operations throughout Central High Rise Ian is also a council member of the SLPTG – The Steeplejacks and Lightning Protection Training Group and offer continuing support to other member in the industry.

Steven Smith

Finance Manager

Steve is Central High Rise’s Financial Manager and is one of the company’s longest serving employees. After joining in 1988 as a Trainee, in 2002 Steve was progressed to accounts manager to oversee the accounts department. Central High Rise provided opportunities and further training and development resulting in Steve achieving qualifications in Business and Finance. Following the growth of Central High Rise, Steve now has become Financial Manager and forms part of the Senior Management team. Steve has also guided Central High Rise and the Directors through a Management buyout and played a key role in the transition.

David Cini

Q.A and Compliance Manager

Prior to joining Central High Rise, David was Chief Accounts Manager for a finance company , David has engorged his meticulous Skills throughout his vital position within Central High Rise and since joining in 2010 David has improved Management systems accredited to ISO 19001 and is continuing to develop systems in line with Client’s needs. David has responsibility for keeping Central High Rise compliant by regularly auditing all process and procedures to ensure that Central High Rise meets and exceeds our clients’ needs and requirements. David also oversees the completion and submission of pre – qualified Questionnaires to ensure our clients have all documentation required. David also forms Part of the Senior Management team. Currently David is working to achieve the ISO 45001 Accreditation for Central High Rise.

Darryl Archer

Contracts Manager

Starting as a Trainee Steeplejack in 1987, Darryl joined Central High Rise to further his career and to share his expertise to guide the operative teams through any situation. Prior to progressing with Central High Rise, Darryl has been Site Manager, Senior Forman and Health and Safety Representative. In Addition to his experience and knowledge as a Steeplejack and Lightning Protection Engineer, Darryl has hands on experience working on large Heritage projects that have involves Specialist Stonework and Scaffolding. Darryl is focused in the continual development of Health and Safety.

Lee Williams

Health and Safety and Environmental Manager

Prior to joining Central High Rise, Lee worked in various roles including Health and Safety Advisor and trainer Lee conducted training from single operative to Senior Management teams covering various Health and Safety Subjects. After gaining NEBOSH Qualification, Lee became Head of Facilities and Health and Safety with a delegated responsibility for six sites and all Personnel. Since Joining Central High Rise Lee is working closely with all departments to continue strengthening the safety culture within the business, Lee also assisted in gaining Constructionline (Gold) Membership and continues to develop safety systems. Currently Lee is working to achieve the ISO 45001 Accreditation for Central High Rise.
